Corporate Development Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess acquisition, investment, and strategic partnership opportunities through financial, strategic, and operational evaluations.

• Develop financial models, including valuation, DCF, accretion/dilution, IRR, and scenario analyses to support investment decisions.

• Perform market research, competitive analysis, and target identification to bolster corporate development strategies and pipeline advancement.

• Create executive presentations, investment memoranda, and business cases for senior leadership and decision-making bodies.

• Organize and facilitate due diligence activities across finance, legal, product, technology, security, and other functional teams.

• Oversee transaction workstreams, data rooms, information requests, and project timelines throughout the deal lifecycle.

• Aid in transaction execution from initial assessment through to signing and closing.

• Assist with post-close integration planning and transition activities to ensure the successful achievement of deal objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Strategic Finance, Consulting, or a related field.

• Proficient financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.

• Experience in crafting executive-level presentations and investment proposals.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a dynamic environment.

• Strong attention to detail, business acumen, and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
