This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Delivering extensive legal support and guidance across multiple facets of our organization
• Managing corporate securities issues, including secondary sales and tender offers
• Supervising mergers and acquisitions
• Assisting with global expansion initiatives
• Overseeing corporate governance issues
• Executing share transfers and equity compensation plans
• Enhancing processes, agreements, and document templates for transactional and governance matters
• Administering the company's corporate insurance program
• Coordinating with external legal counsel
• A minimum of 4 years of corporate legal experience, preferably with training at a law firm focused on venture-backed or high-growth technology firms
• Proven experience in supporting corporate transactions, including venture financing, secondary transactions, and acquisitions
• Proficient in equity and cap table management
• Comfortable working in an international environment, with the headquarters located in Sydney, AU
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with investors, employees, executives, and cross-functional partners
• Strong technology skills, including proficiency in G Suite, Slack, Microsoft Word, and Excel
