This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
β’ Prepare, negotiate, and assess commercial transactions, contracts, and agreements; offering guidance on the interpretation of current contracts, and addressing contractual dispute resolution.
β’ Engage significantly in contractual issues throughout the entire contract lifecycle, from inception to conclusion, for agreements covering a wide range of topics.
β’ Oversee multiple contracts and projects within a time-sensitive environment.
β’ Collaborate with the legal and risk management department and business leaders to support or lead various initiatives related to process enhancements, risk reduction, and legal policy formulation.
β’ Partner with external vendors and legal advisors as necessary.
β’ Juris Doctorate is mandatory.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience at a law firm (ideally an Am Law 100 firm) or as an in-house corporate attorney.
β’ Capability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment.
β’ Preferred experience with information privacy laws, HIPAA, PHI, BAA, and similar agreements.
β’ Familiarity with employment law is an advantage.
β’ Required proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
β’ Project Management experience is preferred.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously or as part of a team are essential.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 10%.
