This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take the lead in planning, prioritizing, managing, and executing the Corporate Compliance project portfolio independently.
• Acquire necessary resources and coordinate with team members, third-party contractors, and consultants to ensure project delivery aligns with established plans and deadlines.
• Establish project objectives and oversee quality assurance throughout the various stages of project life cycles.
• Prepare and support Compliance leadership in reporting to Rochester Regional Health management and the Audit and Compliance Committee.
• Direct and manage the development of projects related to revenue cycle, financial statements, payments, attestations, grants, and payment agreements.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to review findings and provide compliance guidance and education.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables alongside senior management and stakeholders.
• Create comprehensive project plans, communication documents, progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Effectively communicate project expectations and maintain liaison with stakeholders.
• Assess resource needs, prepare budget proposals, negotiate staff acquisition, and determine staffing or consulting requirements.
• Manage project expectations, delegate responsibilities, and resolve team-related issues and conflicts.
• Identify project dependencies and critical paths; establish timelines and milestones.
• Conduct research and assist in securing approvals for new business development.
• Analyze status reports and address any problematic areas.
• Manage scope alterations, identify potential crises, and formulate contingency strategies.
• Develop corrective action plans and aid in their execution.
• Conduct follow-up audits to ensure that monitoring practices are implemented effectively.
• Define and communicate project success criteria.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, supervise, and influence project team members and contractors.
• Build and maintain business relationships essential for project success.
• Perform project post-mortems and generate recommendation reports.
• Establish best practices and tools for effective project execution and management.
• Design and implement annual training on Fraud, Waste, and Abuse, ensuring completion monitoring.
• Create innovative compliance-risk programs that foster stable, long-term relationships.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a similar combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare Compliance is required.
• 5 to 10 years of project management experience is preferred, particularly in the healthcare sector.
• Strong analytical, computer, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
• Proven project management experience working with multiple, diverse stakeholders in a complex project environment.
• Experience managing projects within a recognized standard project lifecycle framework.
• Lean Sigma, PMP, or CAMP certification is preferred.
• Capability to perform sedentary work, occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force.
• Competitive base salary ranging from $75,000.00 to $88,000.00.
