• Oversees the parent entity Crete PA Holdco on a monthly basis, including the reconciliation of the master bank account with sweep/ZBA functionality, as well as managing fixed asset and prepaid accounting, along with P&L reviews.
• Takes ownership of and enhances corporate expense allocations, which encompasses allocation methodologies, supporting schedules, and monthly adjustments.
• Manages cash activities in a cash sweep/ZBA environment across numerous subsidiaries, facilitating intercompany funding and reconciliations as required.
• Aids in the Payroll GL entries originating from the UKG system.
• Conducts payroll cost analyses, generates reports, and provides variance explanations to assist in the closing process and support business partners.
• Oversees the monthly allocation process for insurance expenses.
• Supports the Director of Technical Accounting with monthly debt and interest entries.
• Manages the consolidated deferred seller note schedule and is responsible for monthly interest entries.
• Oversees the consolidated earnout schedule and is accountable for monthly interest entries.
• Aids in managing the monthly consolidation workbook and assists the Director of Technical Accounting with intercompany eliminations.
• Contributes to managing the monthly firm-level and consolidated cash flow model.
• Prepares and reviews specific recurring and non-recurring monthly journal entries.
• Identifies opportunities for streamlining processes and implementing best practices to support fast-paced growth.
• Assists with ad hoc projects as requested by the accounting team, which may include tasks such as supporting opening balance sheet requests, technical accounting projects, firm-level labor analyses, special report/model building, and gross profit analyses.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in accounting or finance.
• Over 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Exceptional organizational skills and effective interpersonal communication.
• Ability to think clearly and conceptually.
• Strong judgment and discretion; capable of recognizing and escalating issues, identifying potential causes, and resolving routine problems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards.
• Friendly, courteous, professional, outgoing, and customer-service oriented.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful situations; adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Must be capable of working independently and productively with minimal supervision.
