This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +6 more states.
β’ Craft paid media ad copy for various platforms including Meta, Google, and LinkedIn.
β’ Develop landing page copy from provided briefs and wireframes, collaborating with designers to ensure cohesive messaging and layout.
β’ Create conversion-driven copy for A/B testing purposes.
β’ Compose email and SMS copy for lifecycle marketing campaigns.
β’ Revise underperforming copy based on analytical insights and test outcomes.
β’ Quickly adapt to diverse client brand voices by assimilating voice guides and existing content to deliver on-brand results.
β’ Work closely with strategists to formulate hypotheses.
β’ Oversee your workload across multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
β’ Leverage AI tools to enhance drafting speed, variant generation, and research while preserving quality and creativity.
β’ Develop, train, and manage brand-specific AI writing agents.
β’ 2β4+ years of experience in conversion copywriting, direct-response writing, CRO copy, or performance marketing copy.
β’ Proven experience in writing paid media copy for platforms like Meta, Google, and LinkedIn, with knowledge of character limits, platform specifications, and creative best practices.
β’ A portfolio showcasing copy designed for testing, such as paid advertisements, landing pages, headline variations, or email campaigns with strategic context.
β’ Proficiency in writing across various brand voices swiftly and accurately.
β’ Strong strategic understanding; you grasp the reasons behind copy conversion, not just what sounds appealing.
β’ Familiarity with digital writing channels: web (landing pages, product detail pages, funnels), paid media (social and search ads), and email/SMS.
β’ Ability to produce a high volume of variants rapidly without compromising quality or strategic insight.
β’ Excellent communication skills; you ask insightful questions about briefs, identify ambiguities early, and articulate your copy rationale to non-writers.
β’ Self-motivated and dependable; you manage your time effectively, consistently meet deadlines, and require minimal oversight.
β’ Experience in an agency or multi-client setting where you balanced competing priorities and quick turnaround times.
β’ Background in writing for CRO, experimentation, or growth marketing, beyond just brand or content marketing.
β’ Proven experience in building AI writing agents, such as custom GPTs, Claude projects, or similar tools configured with brand voice, tone guidelines, and output constraints for specific clients.
β’ This position is classified as a 1099 independent contractor role.
β’ The hourly compensation for this position ranges between $60 and $80.
β’ You will be responsible for managing your own tax withholdings.
