Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and oversee product titles, bullet points, and descriptions across various product listings.

• Transform brand messaging and product unique selling propositions (USPs) into keyword-optimized, shopper-focused content that enhances performance.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, and compliance of brand content with client and platform-specific guidelines.

• Work closely with project managers to guarantee timely and precise content delivery.

• Generate copy for a toy brand catering to both children and adults across Amazon and similar ecommerce platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Remote work — Eastern timezone US only.

• Proficient in writing using US English.

• At least 5 years of copywriting experience in retail or online marketplace ecommerce.

• Proven experience with Amazon or comparable marketplaces such as Walmart or Tesco, preferably in consumer products or toys.

• Strong understanding of SEO, keyword and shopper intent, as well as ecommerce search behavior.

• Ability to spot and rectify inconsistencies, enhance ecommerce copy readability, tailor messaging for specific product categories, and adhere to brand tone.

• Comfortable utilizing structured content templates and authoring tools.

• Detail-oriented with a keen awareness of how minor adjustments can influence performance.

• Established capability to collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate content delivery.

• Preferred: experience with global brands or international marketplaces.

• Preferred: background in retail/Amazon marketplaces, digital marketing, SEO optimization, content creation, copywriting, or digital communications.

• Preferred: substantial experience creating product copy for the toy industry.

• Preferred: significant experience integrating SEO keyword research into product copy.

• Bachelor's Degree application question.
