This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +9 more states.
• Review and amend written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting to align with US English standards.
• Verify product information, names, measurements, and facts for precision and uniformity.
• Identify issues related to character limits, structural inconsistencies, prohibited terminology, and diversity & inclusion considerations.
• Utilize style guides, approved naming files, and briefs as reference materials.
• Partner with writers to address any queries.
• Adjust to various content types and requirements as projects arise.
• Examine Amazon product listings, theme-related texts, and other ad-hoc content prior to publication.
• Guarantee that content is accurate, consistent, compliant, and in line with brand and platform standards.
• Remote work is available — Eastern timezone US only.
• Demonstrated experience in copy editing or proofreading, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or marketing content.
• Native-level proficiency in US English.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Capability to work accurately with high volume and meet deadlines.
• Confidence in adhering to established guidelines and recognizing when to flag issues rather than resolve them.
• Adaptability to transition between different content types.
• Familiarity with Amazon listing requirements is advantageous.
• Inclusion of a Bachelor's Degree application question.
• Must be able to provide an hourly rate in USD.
• Must provide an estimated availability in hours per week.
• Must reside within a US timezone.
• Long-term freelance contract.
