This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +9 more states.
• Review and amend copy for grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting accuracy according to US English standards.
• Verify product data, names, measurements, and facts for precision and consistency.
• Identify character-limit violations, structural issues, prohibited terms, and considerations for diversity and inclusion.
• Utilize style guides, approved names files, and briefs for reference.
• Collaborate with writers to address any questions or concerns.
• Adjust to various content types and requirements as projects develop.
• Evaluate Amazon product listings, theme-related texts, and other miscellaneous content prior to publication.
• Remote work is available — applicants must be located in the Eastern timezone of the US.
• Demonstrated experience in copy editing or proofreading, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or marketing content.
• Proficiency in US English at a native level.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to work accurately under volume and time constraints.
• Confidence in adhering to established guidelines and recognizing when to raise issues instead of resolving them independently.
• Adaptability to transition between various content types.
• Familiarity with Amazon listing requirements is beneficial.
• Bachelor's Degree is requested in the application questions.
• An hourly rate in USD must be provided.
• Weekly availability must be stated.
