This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +9 more states.
• Review and rectify written material for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting according to US English standards.
• Verify the accuracy and consistency of product data, names, measurements, and facts.
• Identify breaches of character limits, structural issues, prohibited terms, and diversity and inclusion considerations.
• Utilize style guides, approved names files, and briefs as reference points.
• Collaborate with writers to address questions and clarify details.
• Adapt to various content types and requirements as new projects arise.
• Evaluate Amazon product listings, theme-related content, and other ad-hoc materials prior to publication.
• Ensure that content is accurate, consistent, compliant, clear, trustworthy, and adheres to brand and platform standards.
• Remote position — applicants must be located in the Eastern timezone of the US.
• Demonstrable experience in copy editing or proofreading, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or marketing sectors.
• Native-level proficiency in US English.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Capacity to work accurately under high volume and tight deadlines.
• Confidence in adhering to established guidelines and knowing when to flag issues rather than attempt to resolve them independently.
• Adaptability to switch between different content types.
• Familiarity with Amazon listing criteria is advantageous.
• Bachelor's Degree information will be requested in the application process.
• A resume is mandatory for the application.
