This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Coordinate and schedule patient infusion and injection appointments in accordance with referrals and medical directives.
• Reach out to patients to arrange appointments and verify scheduling details within established timelines.
• Communicate with pharmacies to ensure medication availability prior to scheduling.
• Organize nurse schedules and confirm adequate clinical staffing for treatments.
• Keep precise patient records and update scheduling systems accordingly.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls as well as emails, achieving service KPIs.
• Send communications such as welcome emails and appointment confirmations to patients.
• Track referrals, follow up on pending medication deliveries, and guarantee readiness for appointments.
• Efficiently manage rescheduling, no-shows, and changes to appointments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external healthcare partners to facilitate seamless patient care delivery.
• Participate in on-call rotations and extended shifts as needed.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree in administration, healthcare, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• At least 2+ years of customer service experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
• Experience in coordinating clients, patients, or scheduling services.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
• Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office and scheduling systems).
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
