Cooling Tower Cleaning Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute cleaning responsibilities with meticulous attention to detail to guarantee equipment quality.

• Skilled in the safe use of power washers, including knowledge of suitable spray head selection and application.

• Adhere to directives from supervisors to facilitate safe, efficient, and timely project execution.

• Maintain OBR’s standards for safety, efficiency, and quality across all work phases.

• Commit to upholding high cleaning standards while ensuring project timelines and safety are not compromised.

• Conduct pre- and post-treatment tasks, including precise measurement of free chlorine levels in cooling tower circulating water.

• Exhibit professionalism, a positive demeanor, and technical proficiency in daily tasks.

• Accurately complete Task Hazard Analysis (THA) cards and other safety documentation in a timely manner.

• Read, comprehend, and utilize information from Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS); adhere to proper chemical handling protocols.

• Perform tasks at heights while ensuring 100% tie-off when elevated above 4 feet.

• Execute additional assignments as directed by the Superintendent, Field Managers, Area Managers, or Foreman.

⛳️ Requirements

• Negative 10 panel urinalysis and breath alcohol screening.

• Valid Driver's License and verification of U.S. Citizenship.

• Successful completion of a background check.

• A score of 2 or lower on a DISA background screening.

• OSHA 10 Certification (preferred).
