Control & Protection Commissioning Engineer – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist in the testing and commissioning of Control & Protection (C&P) systems for AC, FACTS & HVDC Projects.

• Carry out commissioning tasks, prepare necessary documentation, and liaise with internal teams and client representatives.

• Manage commissioning documentation, which includes ITPs, checklists, test procedures, and reports.

• Conduct and facilitate functional testing of control systems, SCADA, HMI, Automation, and Telecom systems.

• Oversee, document, and communicate the progress of commissioning activities at the site.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and relevant regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a related field.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in the commissioning of substation components such as protection relays, HV substation control systems, SCADA, HMI, and telecommunication infrastructure.

• Proficiency in electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, interlocking logic, and communication schemes.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

• Willingness to work on construction sites in Germany and internationally, with optional assignments on offshore platforms.

• Valid German driver's license class B.
