• Proficient in English at a native level with a strong grasp of language and grammar rules.

• Possession of a Master’s degree, PhD, or a professional qualification in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences.

• Previous experience in copyediting academic or research papers or relevant professional experience in one of the specified fields.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Familiarity with style conventions for academic research papers (e.g., UK vs US English, reference styles, standard style guides such as AMA and CSE).

• Strong sense of accountability regarding quality and timely delivery.
