This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead integrated U.S. pricing and contracting economics for Obesity and Related Conditions throughout launch and lifecycle planning.
• Convert contracts, pricing, and value strategies into recommendations for payers and PBMs, as well as manage GTN and LEDR processes and coordinated channel economics.
• Drive the formulation of U.S. pricing and contracting strategies for MariTide across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid channels.
• Construct account and portfolio economics, including bid and negotiation scenarios, access-price trade-offs, and established guardrails.
• Collaborate with Coverage, Market Access, Contract Development, and Contracting and Pricing Execution to transform the approved strategy into actionable contract terms.
• Oversee the Obesity LEDR process while maintaining integrated GTN and net-sales perspectives for launch planning, quarterly business reviews, and long-term planning.
• Reconcile assumptions related to rebates, fees, affordability, trade, government, and channel mix; execute scenarios; document dependencies; and clarify variances.
• Integrate sanctioned retail-pharmacy, cash-reimbursement, and Direct to Employer assumptions into GTN.
• Model variables such as patient contribution, pharmacy and fulfillment fees, employer and member contributions, program fees, eligible lives, enrollment, activation, utilization, persistence, and ramp-up.
• Manage membership inputs and reconcile patient migration and overlap across channels.
• Convey global value and pricing considerations into U.S. launch scenarios and communicate channel implications to global partners.
• Develop assumptions, analogs, sensitivity ranges, and decision triggers in the absence of actuals.
• Expand pricing and GTN frameworks to future indications and sequencing decisions.
• Lead cross-functional pricing initiatives in collaboration with Finance, Forecasting, Accounting, Government Pricing, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Trade, Brand, and Market Access.
• Establish model definitions, documentation, and review schedules; identify risks; and present recommendations and unresolved issues to senior governance.
• Doctorate degree with 3 years of experience in pricing, contracting, market access, finance, accounting, analytics, or sales and marketing operations; OR
• Master’s degree with 5 years of experience in pricing, contracting, market access, finance, accounting, analytics, or sales and marketing operations; OR
• Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience in pricing, contracting, market access, finance, accounting, analytics, or sales and marketing operations; OR
• Associate’s degree with 12 years of experience in pricing, contracting, market access, finance, accounting, analytics, or sales and marketing operations; OR
• High school diploma or GED with 14 years of experience in pricing, contracting, market access, finance, accounting, analytics, or sales and marketing operations.
• Significant experience in U.S. pharmaceutical pricing, payer or PBM contracting, GTN forecasting, or launch financial planning.
• Proven ownership of an enterprise forecast or economic model that integrates assumptions from various business stakeholders and supports senior-level decision-making.
• Familiarity with reimbursed, cash, employer, affordability, trade, and government flows and their impacts on GTN and price reporting.
• Capability to manage eligible-life and membership cohorts, channel migration, transaction economics, data lineage, and model controls.
• Strong executive communication skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and experience with enterprise planning or deal modeling is preferred.
