This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Accelerate Deal Velocity: Evaluate, revise, and negotiate agreements with customers, vendors, and partners, striking a balance between effective risk management and a practical approach to closing deals.
• Optimize Legal Infrastructure: Oversee the legal department’s intake process within Salesforce, establishing clear triage protocols and conducting initial evaluations to address inquiries effectively.
• Drive Process Automation: Leverage and enhance contract management and automation software to streamline initial reviews and reduce manual administrative bottlenecks.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work in conjunction with Sales, Finance, Executive leadership, and InfoSec to ensure all required compliance approvals are obtained seamlessly throughout the transactional lifecycle.
• Conduct an audit of the current legal case queue and contract data to pinpoint key bottlenecks hindering sales cycles.
• Attain complete autonomy over the intake, initial triage, and standard redlining of typical customer NDAs and vendor agreements.
• Decrease the contract-to-close time for standard agreements by implementing organized playbooks and workflow enhancements within the contract management system.
• Develop a highly automated, self-sustaining commercial contract framework that scales effortlessly with Panopto’s global growth.
• Proven experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial legal agreements (including customer software agreements, vendor contracts, and partner frameworks) within a corporate environment.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and specialized contract management lifecycle (CLM) platforms to manage workflows and enhance operational clarity.
• A keen eye for detail combined with the ability to think swiftly, follow through on projects deliberately, and exercise exceptional commercial judgment.
• Strong interpersonal abilities that allow you to foster solid, collaborative relationships across sales, finance, and external client teams.
• A formal legal education background (such as a J.D., LL.M., or a Bachelor’s degree with strong corporate paralegal credentials) that merges theoretical accuracy with practical business execution.
