This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of prime contracts, subcontracts, task orders, purchase orders, teaming agreements, nondisclosure agreements, master service agreements, consulting agreements, and various contract-related documents.
• Analyze solicitations, requests for proposals, representations and certifications, contract terms and conditions, and amendments; pinpoint requirements, exceptions, risks, and necessary approvals.
• Create and propose pricing strategies for proposal submissions.
• Lead negotiations for contracts with prime contractors, subcontractors, vendors, teaming partners, and consultants.
• Act as the main point of contact for all communications with contracting representatives, clients, teaming partners, vendors, executive leadership, and legal representatives.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, contract clauses, and company policies.
• Develop compliant subcontract terms and proper prime-contract flow-downs; assist in source selection, subcontract negotiation, consent requirements, and subcontract administration.
• Provide advice on contract type, funding, period of performance, deliverables, invoicing, allowable costs, intellectual property and data rights, conflicts of interest, and other significant terms.
• Monitor contractual deliverables, funding, options, modifications, notices, reporting obligations, government property requirements, and key dates.
• Assist in proposal planning, compliance reviews, pricing coordination, certifications, and readiness for submission.
• Coordinate responses to audits, reviews, requests for information, and customer inquiries.
• Maintain complete, accurate, organized, and audit-ready contract files and records.
• Keep abreast of regulatory and contractual developments and recommend actions to leadership.
• Develop and establish a contracts management structure, governance, policies, procedures, business processes, and training.
• Perform additional contract, compliance, and business operations duties as necessary.
• A minimum of seven to ten (7-10) years of progressively responsible experience in contracts administration and management, supporting the complete lifecycle of U.S. federal government procurements and contract administration.
• Proven knowledge and experience with FAR and DFAR Supplement, applying contract clauses in daily operations.
• Experience in independently reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and administering prime contracts and subcontracts.
• Current Secret clearance is preferred; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance for certain programs.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, company, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and function effectively with limited administrative support.
• Experience in developing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing procedures and templates.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and electronic document, signature, and contract-record systems.
• Experience with small businesses servicing the federal government is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contracts, Finance, Law, Public Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
