This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare, evaluate, process, and oversee standard commercial agreements, which include NDAs, vendor contracts, independent contractor agreements, amendments, and renewals.
• Manage and uphold the organization’s contract lifecycle management system (Ironclad), covering intake workflows, approval routing, execution tracking, and repository oversight.
• Act as the main contact for internal stakeholders concerning contract inquiries, status updates, and guidance on contract processes.
• Monitor contract obligations, renewal timelines, expirations, and significant milestones to guarantee timely follow-ups and compliance.
• Enhance and maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and supporting documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Collaborate with external counsel and internal legal leadership on agreements that necessitate specialized legal scrutiny, including those related to data usage and privacy.
• Recognize and appropriately escalate non-standard contract terms, legal risks, and policy exceptions.
• Assist with legal operations projects, process enhancements, and best practices to boost efficiency and scalability.
• An Associate’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, Bachelor’s degree, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, Contracts Administrator, Legal Operations Specialist, or in a related role.
• Proven experience managing standard commercial agreements and contract workflows.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems; experience with Ironclad is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational capabilities with the aptitude to handle multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail, along with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in supporting healthcare, clinical research, life sciences, or other regulated sectors is preferred.
• Knowledge of privacy, compliance, and data-related agreements is highly favored.
• Experience working in partnership with external counsel and legal service providers is preferred.
• Background in contributing to process improvement or legal operations initiatives is preferred.
