Contracts Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire contract lifecycle from proposal assistance through award, execution, modification, and closeout.

• Create, assess, negotiate, and manage government and commercial contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, and other contractual documents.

• Interpret and ensure adherence to FAR, DFARS, and specific customer contractual requirements.

• Collaborate with Business Development and Capture teams to evaluate solicitations, identify contractual risks, and assist in proposal submissions.

• Provide guidance to Program Managers and functional leaders regarding contractual obligations, deliverables, changes, and compliance requirements.

• Work with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to address contractual issues and negotiate favorable business terms.

• Maintain contract documentation, reporting, and internal controls to support audits and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Develop and enhance scalable contract management processes to facilitate company growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, Law, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in managing government contracts within the defense, aerospace, or federal technology industries.

• Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and common U.S. Government contract types, including FFP, CPFF, T&M, and IDIQ contracts.

• Experience in supporting proposal development, contract negotiations, and program execution.

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Preferred experience with OTAs, SBIR/STTR programs, export controls including ITAR/EAR, and DCAA-compliant environments.

• NCMA certification, such as CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM, is an advantage.
