Contracts Counsel – Agency Temporary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare, assess, and negotiate intricate Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), confidentiality agreements, material transfer agreements, and vendor service contracts.

• Ensure that all clinical trial contracts and processes adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

• Work closely with internal teams to create, revise, and maintain standard agreement templates.

• Recognize potential legal risks within contractual documents and propose strategies for mitigation.

• Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulatory frameworks that impact clinical research.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is mandatory.

• Must be an active member of a State Bar Association (preferably California).

• Over 5 years of experience in a large law firm and/or the legal department of a Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical company is required.

• Familiarity with statutes, regulations, and industry standards related to GxP, clinical research, trial transparency, and product commercialization.

• Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating agreements related to clinical trials and a solid understanding of the clinical development process.

• Demonstrated capability to manage a diverse range of general corporate and commercial contracts outside of the clinical context.

• Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and ideally, international laws and regulations that govern clinical research (e.g., FDA, GCP, ICH guidelines, data privacy regulations).
