This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium, +1 more country.
• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate complex and high-value contracts associated with clinical trials, which include Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs), and other pertinent documents.
• Ensure that contracts adhere to both local and international regulations as well as company policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as legal, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and finance to ensure consistency and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Act as a liaison with external parties, including clients, sites, and vendors, to streamline the contract negotiation and approval processes.
• Track the progress of contract negotiations and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
• Maintain precise records and documentation concerning contracts and agreements.
• Offer guidance and support to project teams on contractual issues throughout the clinical trial lifecycle.
• Engage in the development and execution of contract management strategies and processes.
• Ensure contracts are executed in a timely manner to adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
• Assist in resolving any contractual disputes and challenges as they occur.
• Keep abreast of changes in regulations and industry standards pertaining to clinical trial contracts.
• Mentor and guide junior contract specialists, aiding in their professional growth.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops aimed at enhancing the contract management capabilities of the team.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Law, Business Administration, Life Sciences).
• Significant experience in contract management or negotiation within the pharmaceutical, clinical research, or similar sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of the contractual regulations and guidelines governing clinical trials.
• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Keen attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English; additional language proficiencies may be advantageous based on the location.
