Contract Specialist, Provider

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Accountable for overseeing and assisting with provider contracts across all business lines.

• Work in collaboration with the Contracting Department and both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful accomplishment of departmental and organizational objectives.

• Handle intricate provider inquiries concerning operations and contract interpretation.

• Aid in the organization and scheduling of regular payer joint operations committee meetings.

• Oversee and engage in the creation and execution of systems that enhance network operations.

• Foster change and innovation by consistently seeking and implementing value-added solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in Managed Care provider networks is necessary.

• Required basic financial analysis experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in contracting or physician relations in responsible roles within healthcare contracting is essential.
