This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Provide comprehensive support throughout the entire acquisition lifecycle for the federal agency’s Office of Acquisition Services, encompassing pre-award planning, development of solicitations, evaluation of proposals and quotes, and administration of contracts post-award.
• Conduct and document market research while assisting in acquisition planning for designated requirements.
• Create and refine solicitation documents, which include RFPs, RFQs, IFBs, and Combined Synopsis/Solicitations.
• Aid in technical evaluations and past performance reviews, contribute to scoring, negotiation objectives, and the preparation of award documentation.
• Manage contract modifications and assist in post-award administration tasks, such as option exercises and de-obligations.
• Ensure the maintenance of complete and accurate procurement files, submitting them within the mandated timelines of the agency.
• Generate status reports and assist in regular meetings with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
• A Bachelor's degree.
• At least five (5) years of proven experience in federal contracting across the entire acquisition lifecycle, from solicitation development to contract administration.
• Possession of current or prior Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C), Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA), or an equivalent civilian certification (e.g., National Contract Management Agency (NCMA)).
• In-depth understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Capability to obtain and retain the government suitability determination necessary for agency access.
• Previous experience with the Integrated Contracts Expert (ICE) contract writing system is preferred.
• Prior involvement in acquisitions for the CDC, HHS, or other federal public health agencies is preferred.
