Contract Specialist – FSP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Prepares, evaluates, negotiates, and concludes agreements with study sites.

• Negotiates within established guidelines.

• Ensures adherence to set negotiation standards and client expectations.

• Identifies and evaluates legal, financial, and operational risks.

• Offers recommendations and alternative solutions during Investigator Contracts negotiations.

• Collaborates with internal departments to facilitate site startup activities.

• Meets target timelines for site activations.

• Ensures adherence to guidelines and procedures for the efficient escalation of issues that fall outside established parameters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

• Prior experience that equips the individual with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role (approximately 2-5 years).

• Strong understanding of contract law principles.

• Proven ability to implement basic principles of investigator grant negotiation.

• General knowledge of business and financial principles.

• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and the local language.

• Proficient in drafting and negotiating contract terms.

• Demonstrated attention to detail.

• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.

• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical product development process.

• Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Working knowledge of PPD SOP and WPDs.

• Able to prioritize competing tasks logically and assess outstanding contractual risks and issues.
