Contract Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Prepares, reviews, negotiates, and finalizes agreements with study sites in accordance with local and accepted processes.

• Engages in negotiations within approved limits regarding investigator grant budgets, contractual terms, and conditions, in line with company and client contractual considerations, established procedures with sites, and adheres to established escalation pathways.

• Directly negotiates with assigned sites on all matters related to contracting, including clinical trial agreements, budgets, payment terms, ancillary agreements, and amendments.

• Collaborates with the internal Study Startup team, CROs, Clinical Operations teams, and TAU partners to enhance overall SB&C metrics and streamline processes.

• Ensures that standards are consistently applied to SB&C processes across various projects.

• Utilizes leading industry tools and data sources to provide budget and contract insights that align with parameters and fair market value guidelines.

• Quickly identifies and addresses potential delays, escalating issues to the appropriate team members.

• Monitors all actions and negotiations to guarantee that timelines are met for the assigned studies and sites.

• Aids in resolving escalated issues identified by the site activation sub-team in collaboration with the internal Study Startup team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research site contracting and budgeting within a pharmaceutical company, CRO, or relevant industry vendor.

• Proficient in explaining data to facilitate decision-making processes driven by data.

• Knowledge and comprehension of clinical study protocols and assessment schedules.

• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry, including clinical development and the prescription drug distribution process.

• Understanding of Clinical Trial Agreements, budgeting practices, and fair market value principles.

• Knowledge of FDA and ICH-GCP guidelines for conducting clinical research.
