Contract Negotiation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take the initiative to draft, review, and negotiate standard clinical trial agreements (such as CTAs, CDAs, and amendments) with investigative sites and institutions.

• Oversee the assigned contract portfolio to facilitate site activation deliverables and adhere to study timelines.

• Serve as the primary contact for sites and internal teams regarding contract-related inquiries, ensuring effective and timely communication.

• Utilize approved negotiation parameters and escalate non-standard terms or higher-risk issues to senior team members or Legal when necessary.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders (including Site Activation, Clinical Operations, and Finance) to ensure alignment of contract terms, particularly regarding budget-related provisions.

• Monitor contract progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in relevant systems and tools.

• Identify and proactively mitigate contract-related delays, striving to resolve issues and minimize their impact on study timelines.

• Ensure all contracts adhere to applicable regulatory requirements, sponsor guidelines, and company policies.

• Aid in audit and inspection readiness by keeping complete and accurate contract files.

• Participate in continuous process enhancements aimed at improving contract cycle times and quality.

• Manage multiple priorities concurrently while meeting established timelines and quality standards.

• Provide regular status updates and metrics to stakeholders and project teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research (CRO or pharma) focused on contract and budget negotiation with sites: direct contract/BGT negotiation experience is essential.

• Proficiency in English at an advanced level, as you will collaborate with a team supporting sites in North America.
