Contract Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, draft, and negotiate agreements with third-party vendors for a diverse range of services.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Legal, Risk, Compliance, Information Security, Finance, and Business Operations, to ensure contract terms align with necessary standards.

• Utilize contract management software to create and maintain all third-party supplier agreements.

• Work alongside finance and the relevant business unit to budget for and monitor new expenditures and ongoing renewals.

• Assist internal teams with vendor research as required to support company initiatives.

• Organize and engage in meetings with internal stakeholders and representatives from third-party suppliers during contract negotiations.

• Aid UMB end users in understanding contract terms related to moderately complex agreements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in contracts/legal, risk, procurement, financial services, or other relevant fields OR an advanced degree with 2 years of related experience in contracts/legal, procurement, financial services, or other relevant areas.

• Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) or other pertinent industry certifications (preferred).

• Proficient in negotiating software license agreements, cloud computing contracts, or other technology-related agreements.
