Contract Loss Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform field inspections to evaluate crop damage and confirm loss conditions in line with RMA and MPCI program standards.

• Gather and document pertinent information such as planting records, production history, and physical evidence of loss.

• Accurately complete and submit claim documentation within stipulated timeframes, ensuring adherence to federal and carrier guidelines.

• Professionally communicate with policyholders and agents to clarify findings, collect information, and address discrepancies.

• Employ approved adjusting tools and software to compute indemnities and finalize claims.

• Stay updated on crop types, farming practices, and regional agricultural conditions relevant to designated territories.

• Engage in ongoing training and continuing education to uphold adjuster proficiency and licensing requirements.

• Work collaboratively with claims leadership and QA personnel during periodic evaluations and reviews, including participation in TPER and TPEP processes.

• Comply with company policies and ethical standards while representing AgCentric in the field.

• Undertake additional loss adjusting duties and projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in crop insurance claims.

• Required CAPP – Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program accreditation.

• Valid driver's license.

• Familiarity with MPCI loss adjustment procedures and guidelines.

• Experience in field inspection and crop damage assessment.

• Knowledge of crop appraisal methodologies and documentation.

• Proficiency in policyholder and agent communication.

• Competence in using adjusting software and mobile inspection tools.

• Understanding of regulatory compliance with RMA and carrier standards.

• Awareness of regional crop types and farming practices.

• Skills in measurement techniques and evidence collection.

• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
