Contract Golang Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Engage in a client team to create innovative products.

• Design architectures that are scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant.

• Develop and implement digital solutions that deliver long-term value.

• Construct and maintain APIs and backend services, including SaaS platforms.

• Work within cloud environments and utilize modern infrastructure.

• Apply contemporary deployment practices using Docker, containers, and Kubernetes.

• Execute testing strategies, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), throughout the entire system lifecycle.

• Enhance system performance.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance engineering tasks where they provide real value.

• Collaborate in a dynamic, team-focused engineering setting.

• Participate in interviews with a Talent Partner, Senior Developers, and Client Partner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive backend engineering experience, preferably with Go as the main language.

• Proficient in working within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience in building and managing APIs and backend services, including SaaS platforms.

• Knowledge of modern infrastructure and distributed systems.

• Strong grasp of current deployment practices, including Docker, containers, and Kubernetes.

• Comprehensive background in testing strategies, including TDD, across the entire system lifecycle.

• Focused on performance optimization.

• Ability to wisely utilize AI tools and adopt emerging technologies where they offer value.

• Self-driven, proactive, and dedicated to ongoing improvement.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts in business-friendly terms.

• Detail-oriented.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and pragmatic technology selections.
