
Contract Family Law Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a portfolio of family law cases from initial consultation to final resolution
• Prepare, review, and submit pleadings, motions, and legal documentation pertaining to divorce, custody, support, and other related issues
• Perform legal research and create case strategies customized to client requirements
• Advocate for clients during court hearings, mediations, and trials
• Manage discovery processes, including document requests, interrogatories, and depositions
• Liaise with clients, opposing lawyers, and court officials
• Offer legal advice and case evaluations to clients during emotionally charged situations
• Work in conjunction with internal team members, such as case managers and support staff
• Keep precise and timely billing records to achieve necessary billable hours
• Ensure adherence to all court deadlines, procedural regulations, and firm policies
• At least 5 years of legal experience
• Significant expertise in family law, including divorce, custody, and child support cases
• Trial experience is mandatory
• Capacity to fulfill a minimum of 120 hours per month
• Strong capability to independently manage cases and meet deadlines
• Must be available for court appearances as required
