Contract Attorney, Legal Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Negotiate and redline customer agreements, including BAAs, DPAs, NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs.

• Review and swiftly respond to customer-initiated contract changes with accuracy.

• Create and maintain reusable templates for Reseller agreements, Partner agreements, and various commercial contracts.

• Provide guidance on data privacy terms and obligations according to GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

• Work alongside our Compliance Officer to ensure contract language is consistent with our SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other compliance commitments.

• Facilitate deal momentum by quickly addressing redlines and participating in calls with customer legal teams as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in commercial contracts, SaaS agreements, or technology transactions (either in-house or at a law firm).

• Strong understanding of data privacy frameworks, including GDPR, SCCs, and CCPA/CPRA.

• Practical experience in redlining BAAs, DPAs, NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs at scale.

• Knowledge of compliance concepts (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and their relevance to contract terms.

• Demonstrated ability to create new agreement templates from the ground up.

• Exceptional written communication skills in English, with a focus on precision and clarity.

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic startup environment.
