Contract Attorney – Business Litigation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Act as legal counsel on a variety of intricate commercial litigation issues

• Engage with ongoing cases and oversee critical components, including motion practices, discovery, depositions, negotiations, and hearings

• Collaborate with firm leadership to formulate and implement effective case strategies

• Offer clear, practical, and business-oriented legal guidance to clients

• Uphold exceptional standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and client service

• Communicate proficiently with clients, colleagues, and court officials

⛳️ Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey (admission in NY and/or FL is a bonus)

• Proven experience in business/commercial litigation is essential

• Experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury litigation is advantageous but not mandatory

• Corporate transactional experience is also beneficial but not compulsory

• Capable of independently managing active cases and meeting deadlines in a remote setting

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organized, attentive to detail, and dependable
