Contract Attorney – Business Litigation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Act as legal counsel on various intricate commercial litigation issues

• Engage with ongoing cases and oversee critical elements, such as motion practice, discovery, depositions, negotiations, and hearings

• Formulate and implement effective case strategies in partnership with firm leadership

• Deliver clear, practical, and business-oriented legal advice to clients

• Uphold exceptional standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and client service

• Communicate proficiently with clients, colleagues, and the courts

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in Florida (admission in NY is a bonus)

• Proven experience in business/commercial litigation is essential

• Experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury litigation is advantageous but not mandatory

• Corporate transactional experience is also beneficial but not essential

• Must be comfortable managing active cases and meeting deadlines independently in a remote setting

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
