Continuity Clinician – Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +2 more states.

• Deliver top-tier, patient-focused care.

• Oversee your patient panel through ongoing remote care, collaborating with our skilled health coaches and receiving support from our clinical team, including our endocrinology experts.

• Proactively ensure thorough follow-up on patient concerns and needs.

• Share after-hours call responsibilities with our team.

• All Virta services are conducted remotely, eliminating the concept of an "in-house" call. Our team rotates call weeks, meaning you will cover approximately 1 in 8 weeks.

• Engage actively in developing new technologies and protocols aimed at enhancing patient care and outcomes.

• Exhibit proactive utilization of AI tools to boost personal productivity and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an unrestricted medical license.

• Having multiple state licenses is advantageous, but only the willingness and ability to obtain additional licenses are mandatory.

• Board certification in a relevant specialty (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Endocrinology is preferred).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency in diabetes management.

• Exceptional bedside manner and strong patient service orientation.

• Excellent organizational capabilities.

• A profound interest in the science underpinning Virta, along with a commitment to Virta’s nutritional approach to diabetes reversal.

• Experience in telemedicine is preferred.
