Content Writer – Somali

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Generate unique, human-written text samples across various subject areas.

• Adhere to a given prompt while recognizing the relevant domain expertise.

• Ensure that all submissions are fully original, avoiding the use of AI tools, translation software, or any copied content.

• Provide a written declaration confirming the originality of your work.

• Agree to the terms of project confidentiality, which prohibit the republication of submitted materials.

• Contribute to LILT’s language data initiatives and AI evaluation projects.

• Assist in the development of Terminal-Bench tasks aimed at addressing multilingual software challenges and evaluating language models.

• Complete a GenAI assessment, onboarding process, and profile setup to qualify for Applied AI projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency and exceptional writing skills in Somali.

• Proven subject-matter expertise in one or more fields, such as law, business, biography, religion, philosophy, or poetry.

• Previous professional, academic, or published writing experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of style, tone, and structure relevant to the chosen domain.

• Ability to work autonomously from prompts with minimal creative direction.

• Strict compliance with originality and confidentiality standards.

• Reliable availability and dedication to timely submission of work.

• Most tasks require a commitment of at least 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week.

• An updated CV in English must be submitted.

• Completion of a GenAI assessment is necessary.

• Contractors must not be based in regions subject to international embargoes or sanctions.

• Responsible for managing personal tax obligations as a 1099 contractor.
