Content Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mozambique.

📋 Description

• Convert and adapt content from English and group materials into Portuguese for various platforms, including websites, applications, terms and conditions, bonus terms, banners, SMS, push notifications, emails, and social media.

• Tailor local football references, currency, payment options, and cultural context specifically for the audience in Mozambique.

• Review and refine Mozambique content to ensure correct spelling, grammar, tone, accuracy, and consistency prior to publication.

• Verify amounts, odds, dates, and promotional terms; uphold a Mozambique style guide and glossary.

• Create original copy for campaigns, promotions, sports-related content, match previews, and landing pages that align with the brand's voice.

• Ensure that content contains necessary 18+ and Responsible Gaming messages, while avoiding misleading claims or appeals directed at minors.

• Acquire compliance approval for promotional content.

• Work collaboratively with Marketing, CRM, Customer Support, Product, and Design teams to ensure timely delivery of content.

• Provide localized scripts and FAQs for the support team.

• Coordinate with Product, Customer Support, VIP, Payments, and other departments to maintain the accuracy and currency of published information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field.

• Prior experience in content writing, copywriting, digital marketing, communications, or a similar position.

• Over 3 years of experience in a comparable role.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong skills in grammar, proofreading, editing, and a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to craft engaging content tailored for various audiences and platforms.

• Good grasp of social media, digital marketing, and online advertising.

• Proficient in researching topics and transforming information into clear, engaging content.

• High level of creativity and capability to generate new content ideas.

• Ability to handle multiple assignments and adhere to deadlines.

• Familiarity with content management systems, social media platforms, and fundamental digital marketing tools is advantageous.

• Experience in the iGaming industry or a similar field is a plus.
