This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ethiopia, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Create original, human-written text samples across various subject areas including law, business, biography, religion, philosophy, and poetry.

• Adhere to a specified prompt once the area of expertise has been determined.

• Ensure that all submissions are completely original, free from the use of AI tools, translation tools, or any copied content.

• Provide a written attestation of the originality of all submissions.

• Agree to maintain confidentiality and not publish the submitted content elsewhere.

• Complete a GenAI assessment.

• Finalize your onboarding and profile setup to qualify for Applied AI projects.

• Contribute to LILT’s language data initiatives and AI evaluation projects, as well as the multilingual AI evaluation suite.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level fluency and exceptional writing skills in Amharic.

• Proven expertise in one or more subject areas such as law, business, biography, religion, philosophy, or poetry.

• Prior writing experience is preferred, which may include professional, academic, or published work.

• Strong understanding of style, tone, and structure relevant to the chosen field.

• Ability to work independently from a prompt with minimal creative direction.

• Strict compliance with originality and confidentiality standards.

• An updated CV in English is required.

• Successful completion of a GenAI assessment is mandatory.

• Reliable availability and commitment to timely deliverables.

• Most assignments require at least 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week.

• Candidates must not be located in regions that are subject to international embargoes or sanctions.

• Responsible for personal tax obligations as a 1099 contractor.
