Content Writer, AI Search

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create and refine articles, guides, FAQs, and product detail pages for the Learning Center, ensuring they are optimized for AEO/GEO citability and AI-generated responses.

• Generate new content aimed at enhancing Rocket Loans' visibility in AI search, while also crafting education-based lifecycle and nurture email copy that aligns with the brand's voice.

• Regularly update content across the site to maintain its relevance, ensuring that data points, dates, and copy are accurate and consistently cited.

• Identify content gaps and contribute strategic suggestions for addressing them during content strategy discussions.

• Utilize a solid understanding of content structure best practices, including key takeaways, anchor-linked headers, sourced claims, author attribution, and FAQ sections.

• Work collaboratively with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure that content development and implementation are cohesive, while also assisting with press release writing and earned media initiatives.

• Exhibit a working knowledge of AEO/GEO and SEO principles, including search intent, content structure, and query-driven writing techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in writing and editing digital content.

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or a related field.

• Proven experience in writing within the personal finance, fintech, or financial services sectors.

• A clear understanding of AEO/GEO and SEO principles, including search intent, content structure, and query-driven writing.

• Familiarity with content management systems and project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Monday, Jira, Confluence).
