Content Strategist – Showrunner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• You will create and manage the editorial calendar for LinkedIn and YouTube.

• You will develop recurring series and formats (e.g., myth-busting posts, website evaluations, data-driven trend articles) that build momentum over time.

• You will determine what content gets published, the timing, and the format—ensuring every piece reinforces our position as the data-backed authority in A/B testing.

• You will conduct biweekly 60–90 minute sessions with the Founder to gather insights, opinions, and stories from client projects.

• Your responsibility is to transform that raw material into a week's worth of LinkedIn posts, video scripts, and content briefs.

• You will write or oversee the writing of 4–5 LinkedIn posts each week in the Founder’s voice, along with scripts for 1–2 YouTube videos.

• You will also cultivate a distinct written voice that authentically represents the Founder and is consistent across all platforms.

• You will guide a videographer, a graphic designer, and editors.

• You will establish the creative brief, review the output, and ensure everything meets a high-quality standard.

• You will analyze what is effective and what is not across all formats and platforms, utilizing engagement data, follower growth, and pipeline attribution to amplify successful formats and eliminate underperformers.


⛳️ Requirements

• **Builder of founder-led brands.** You have successfully built an audience around an individual, not just a logo. You recognize that the founder’s voice, personality, and expertise are integral to the brand—and you know how to present that effectively for LinkedIn and YouTube.

• **Exceptional writer.** You craft hooks that capture attention instantly. You can simplify complex A/B testing insights, making them accessible, surprising, and shareable. You are equally adept at writing concise LinkedIn posts and detailed YouTube scripts.

• **Strategic thinker.** You view content as a positioning tool rather than merely a publishing schedule. You understand how individual posts contribute to a broader brand narrative and can explain why one format may be more effective than another.

• **Platform fluency.** You possess a deep understanding of how LinkedIn and YouTube operate—including algorithms, formats, and engagement patterns. You know what performs well on each platform and stay updated on changes.

• **Data-comfortable.** While you don’t need to be a data scientist, you should be comfortable working with testing data, conversion metrics, and statistical concepts. Our content is grounded in proprietary data—you need to be able to tell stories using it effectively.

• **Smart and high agency.** You learn quickly, take initiative, and do not wait for direction. When challenges arise, you diagnose the issues and implement solutions. You are proactive in bringing solutions rather than questions.

• Nice to Have:

• **B2B or SaaS content experience.** You have created content for a technical or data-driven B2B audience in the past.

• **Experience with A/B testing or CRO.** You understand what a p-value is and the rationale behind headline testing. This is not mandatory—we will provide training.

• **Track record of audience growth.** You can demonstrate a LinkedIn profile, YouTube channel, or newsletter that you contributed to growing from small beginnings to significant reach.

• **Video production awareness.** While you don’t need to shoot or edit, having an understanding of what constitutes a good thumbnail, a strong cold open, and an engaging video structure will enhance your effectiveness.
