This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
β’ Manage product listings by collecting briefs from Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) following a prioritization scoring system; engage in weekly meetings.
β’ Brief and direct both internal and external contributors (design teams, agencies, vendors, internal experts, etc.): compose briefs, guidelines, examples, and handle approvals and communications.
β’ Compose and disseminate communications regarding new features, product launches, and significant updates across multiple channels (website, social media, internal communications).
β’ Develop, implement, and execute a lead generation strategy utilizing downloadable content (white papers, checklists, practical guides).
β’ Organize and facilitate webinars for various audiences (SMBs, accounting firms, creators) to generate new leads and enhance engagement with Pennylane solutions.
β’ Create and manage event content including pitches, presentations, explainer videos, brochures, trade show materials, partner event assets, and major industry events (ComptaTech, DAFTech, Pennylane events, etc.).
β’ Supervise the production of video content related to product highlights and events: scripting, pre-production, filming, and post-production (collaborating with internal teams and/or vendors).
β’ Lead the development of programs and initiatives tailored for key events (e.g., ComptaTech program for creators), ensuring relevance, quality, and consistency in content.
β’ Maintain regular updates of product pages and offers (ensuring completeness, storytelling, and highlighting functional benefits).
β’ Conduct competitive monitoring and continuously enhance the site with pertinent product marketing content.
β’ Act as the liaison between Product, Sales, and Marketing teams: share the roadmap, report customer/user insights, and co-develop educational and marketing materials.
β’ Engage with accounting firm workflows (Sales/CSM feedback, verbatims, field insights) to inform product storytelling and effectively address pain points.
β’ Collaborate with international teams (e.g., Germany) to share best practices, tailor messages, and replicate learnings (while maintaining brand consistency).
β’ Serve as the product reference for the marketing team, ensuring distribution of post-mortems, insights, and product updates.
β’ Actively engage in market monitoring, gathering customer needs, and feeding into the content and product strategy.
β’ Approximately 5 years of experience in product content (preferably in a B2B setting).
β’ Exceptional writing skills: clarity, pedagogical approach, and meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Capability to comprehend product topics and convey them as benefits (avoiding jargon).
β’ Highly adept at working cross-functionally: coordinating, prioritizing, and managing multiple stakeholders (Brand, Product, PMM, Sales, etc.).
β’ Results-oriented: capable of measuring (engagement, conversion, lead generation, Sales re-use) and iterating based on data.
β’ Proficient in using generative AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude/Notion AI, etc.) to optimize production and content variations, with thorough review and critical judgment (quality, tone, factual accuracy).
β’ Content will be published in French, necessitating native-level proficiency in the language.
β’ A good command of English is required.
