This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with HR, Learning and Development, business leaders, and subject matter experts to create, develop, and implement learning solutions.
• Manage instructional design projects from start to finish.
• Identify and facilitate technology for remote training sessions.
• Simultaneously design multiple training projects while coordinating project plans, resources, vendors, and timelines.
• Follow up on learning activities to pinpoint additional development needs.
• Create and maintain materials for leadership development applicable to both in-person and online training.
• Partner with Learning and Development to find and contract external training venues when necessary.
• Provide constructive feedback on training materials and courses.
• Develop and conduct training courses as well as train-the-trainer programs.
• Contribute to strategies for eLearning, mobile learning, and virtual classroom environments.
• Audit and adjust learning activities as required.
• Monitor and report the effectiveness of training initiatives.
• Travel to the field to observe the training content and assess learning effectiveness, providing feedback as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a comparable mix of experience and education.
• Instructional Design or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of relevant work experience in content/instructional design.
• Proven experience in creating and implementing multi-unit, multimedia training programs.
• Strong understanding of training development best practices, adult learning theory, learning styles, and effective objective measurement.
• Prior experience in training or developing others is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Training and Development functions and practices.
• Experience in project management and vendor relations for complete implementation cycles.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong presentation skills with the capacity to speak in front of groups, conduct high-level meetings, and influence participants.
• Ability to accommodate varying learning styles and learner abilities.
• Understanding and application of adult learning concepts and practices in workplace activities.
• Willingness to travel to the field to observe training content and evaluate learning effectiveness.
• Ability to manage training budgets efficiently.
• Exposure to and comprehension of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Proficiency in Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and Vyond.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Advanced PowerPoint capabilities.
• High engagement in virtual environments and effective camera presence during remote meetings.
• Remote / Work From Home (WFM).
