This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Create high-quality content across various formats including newsletters, LinkedIn posts, long-form articles, broker-facing one-pagers, and email copy.
• Take ownership of the content publishing schedule and maintain progress independently.
• Develop and implement distribution strategies based on performance data.
• Collaborate with the agency on video and production briefs.
• Incorporate audience insights into every content-related decision, going beyond just writing.
• Work with PMMs to ensure messaging alignment and that content accurately reflects the product narrative.
• Partner with Carol on lifecycle email copy and identify when AEO content requires a distribution boost.
• Oversee the content calendar: verify statuses, follow up on stalled items, and coordinate timelines among Alex, the PMM team, and the content tool.
• Ensure smooth operation of the production process without requiring Alex to manage it manually.
• Develop distribution strategies for significant content milestones: suggest formats, channel mixes, gating choices, and repurposing sequences.
• Provide data to back distribution recommendations and implement them once Alex gives the go-ahead.
• Analyze and review weekly distribution metrics, highlighting successes, recommending repeat actions, and identifying patterns to inform editorial strategies.
• 4-6 years of experience in content, editorial, or a related field, with a proven track record of high-quality outputs across multiple formats.
• Exceptional writing skills: capable of producing clear, engaging copy quickly and consistently without heavy oversight.
• Strong distribution awareness: you consider the audience while planning content delivery, not just the creation process.
• Data-driven mindset: you analyze performance metrics and formulate recommendations rather than merely observing trends.
• Dependable in operations: you effectively close loops, update statuses, and ensure the workflow remains uninterrupted without needing reminders.
• Ability to simplify complex information: you can clarify intricate topics in a technically dense market while establishing trust without oversimplifying.
• Bonus points: Experience in B2B or a technically intricate sector where content must build trust as well as drive traffic.
• Familiarity writing for or alongside a commercial team: you understand the relationship between content and pipeline, not just audience reach.
• Experience collaborating with a content leader or editorial director as an execution partner.
• Knowledge of HubSpot for content scheduling and email coordination.
• Understanding of AEO or AI-powered search as a distribution avenue.
• Salary aligned with internal benchmarks, reviewed biannually.
• Stock options to provide everyone with a stake in our mission.
• 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays. Option to exchange public holidays for those that matter most to you, plus enjoy your birthday off.
• Remote-first and flexible working environment, with defined core hours and no internal meetings on Friday afternoons.
• Home office and wellbeing budgets:
• Up to £1,200 per year for your remote setup.
• Up to £150 per month for wellbeing expenses.
