This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Envision and take charge of IDC’s podcast — conducting guest research, planning episodes, coordinating recordings, managing editing processes, reviewing show notes and transcripts, creating social clips, and overseeing distribution.
• Create short-form video content, which includes scripting, coordinating shoots or recordings, and collaborating with our video team to edit and deliver assets for social media and web platforms.
• Collaborate with campaign and social team members to generate creative content that enhances the reach and longevity of each asset and episode produced by the team.
• Work together to optimize occasional programs such as customer events, rapid response initiatives, and seasonal research through cohesive content and agile execution.
• Establish and manage IDC’s customer story program: identify subjects, conduct preparatory interviews, coordinate production, and write and publish case studies featuring technology vendors, CIOs, and CMOs.
• Create a scalable workflow for the production of customer stories that can accommodate increasing volume.
• Oversee IDC’s content production agent stack — configure, prompt, and ensure the quality of AI tools that assist with show notes, research briefs, transcript refinement, and content repurposing.
• Collaborate with the Content Strategist on campaign and nurture content to guarantee that all produced assets are effectively disseminated across various channels.
• 2–5 years of experience producing content across at least two formats (podcast, video, long-form written).
• Proven fluency with AI technologies.
• Strong social understanding and a keen insight into crafting contemporary, impactful content.
• A portfolio that demonstrates versatility: including multiple formats and diverse audience types.
• Experience conducting interviews with senior executives or subject matter experts on camera or microphone.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with a sharp attention to detail.
• A proactive approach with a focus on iterative improvement cycles.
• Preferred: Experience in the B2B or technology sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, or a related field of study.
• Experience managing a customer story or case study program at a significant scale.
• Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms, video editing software, and social media scheduling tools (e.g., Riverside, Canva, Adobe, Sprout Social, or similar).
