This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Assist in the creation and execution of online campaigns aimed at enhancing donor acquisition, increasing sustainer growth, and driving donor renewals and upgrades.
• Collaborate with the Lead Content Producer and Senior Online Membership Associate to establish the creative and strategic direction of online and social acquisition and fundraising initiatives.
• Create visually captivating videos and graphics while crafting impactful, compelling copy for use in digital advertisements, landing pages, lightboxes, and other Center web properties, as well as postcards, invitations, and various fundraising letters and donor stewardship materials.
• Engage in evaluating and analyzing performance metrics across all channels and platforms, with an emphasis on membership growth, retention, upgrades, and sustainer advancement.
• Ensure that content is thoroughly vetted, proofread, and approved by the Center's program and communications teams.
• Collaborate with the Digital team to identify and explore fundraising opportunities, including requests in the EEO and action alerts.
• Partner with the Acquisition team to harmonize the Center’s voice and style across social media platforms and other digital channels.
• Design and liaise with vendors to produce print materials such as quarterly newsletters, event postcard invitations, annual reports, and other related collateral.
• Support the weekly production of landing pages for email appeals and post-action landing pages.
• Aid in maintaining microsites that showcase the Center’s achievements and ongoing initiatives.
• Identify opportunities and pilot experiments with new formats and/or platforms to enhance fundraising effectiveness.
• Stay updated on Center activities as well as news and conservation trends that impact our work in the media.
• Assist with additional fundraising and Development tasks as required.
• Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• 3-5 years of experience in digital video and graphic design for both digital and print mediums.
• Extensive knowledge of design techniques and confidence in working across various disciplines, including digital, web, social media, email, and print.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere (or similar design software).
• Capability to script, storyboard, edit, and produce audio and video content.
• Experience in a fundraising or advocacy setting.
• Proven ability to develop creative content that engages diverse communities and strengthens relationships with current supporters.
• Familiarity with digital advertising platforms.
• Exceptional writing skills.
• Talent for crafting compelling, moving, and inspiring narratives.
• Experience in reporting on campaign performance, including testing different variations.
• Ability to produce high-quality work within deadlines while maintaining high standards.
• Track record of creating campaign content that fosters deeper connections with existing supporters and successfully recruits new members and advocates.
• Awareness of the current digital landscape and emerging trends.
