Content Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop engaging blog posts, ebooks, guides, webinar materials, website text, organic social media content, and occasional email or campaign messaging.

• Contribute to the editorial calendar by recognizing audience needs, industry trends, and timely content opportunities.

• Oversee content projects from initial concept through research, drafting, stakeholder feedback, revisions, publication, and promotion.

• Assist in managing organic social media platforms, including planning, writing, scheduling, publishing, engaging, and performance analysis.

• Produce social media carousels, short videos, and other visual materials using established design templates.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform complex concepts, product details, research, and industry trends into clear and concise content.

• Tailor messaging for various audiences, formats, and channels while upholding Higher Logic’s brand voice.

• Implement SEO and digital discoverability best practices in content planning and production.

• Supervise freelance writers and external content collaborators, ensuring compliance with briefs, feedback, deadlines, and quality expectations.

• Analyze content and social performance to uncover insights and areas for improvement.

• Work in partnership with demand generation, product marketing, customer marketing, brand, design, subject matter experts, and other Higher Logic collaborators.

• Conduct business operations in line with Higher Logic's values, policies, and procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in content marketing, editorial work, communications, or a similar field.

• Proficient in writing and editing both long-form and short-form content across various formats.

• Familiarity with SEO principles and their application in content creation.

• Comfortable utilizing AI-powered tools and documented workflows to enhance content development and efficiency.

• Strong editorial judgment with the ability to simplify complex or vaguely defined topics into audience-centric content.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of juggling multiple projects and deadlines.

• Self-motivated with the discretion to advance work independently while recognizing when to seek input or collaboration.

• Comfortable using performance metrics to assess content effectiveness and guide future initiatives.

• Experience working alongside designers, marketers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a comparable field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

• Preferred: experience managing organic social media channels.

• Preferred: experience overseeing freelance writers, agencies, or content vendors.

• Preferred: familiarity with B2B SaaS, associations, membership organizations, online communities, or marketing technology.

• Preferred: knowledge of WordPress, Semrush, GA4, HubSpot, Salesforce, Hootsuite, Canva, ChatGPT, or Riverside.
