Content Marketing Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Create and implement SMS campaigns, as well as craft copy for automated WhatsApp communications with customers.

• Regularly update and maintain both automated and manual email templates in alignment with brand standards and campaign objectives.

• Distribute marketing and operational campaigns using SendGrid.

• Aid in reviewing and refining Live Chat bot copy.

• Write and revise website copy and visual elements in Craft CMS.

• Collaborate with the Product Team to refresh product content on the website.

• Generate original blog content aimed at achieving quarterly KPI targets.

• Organize, proofread, and publish guest posts as well as content created by the team.

• Support website testing to ensure proper content display and link functionality.

• Create performance reports for communications and other requested metrics.

• Clean up and manually upload mailing lists.

• Collect customer datasets for targeted marketing and management inquiries.

• Carry out additional marketing tasks that align with business and departmental objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in content marketing or copywriting.

• A relevant degree or certification in copywriting, marketing, communications, or digital content marketing is preferred.

• Proven experience in blog writing, with a portfolio showcasing at least two published posts.

• Proficient in copywriting, proofreading, and editing.

• Familiarity with CMS platforms for creating website content is preferred.

• Knowledge of or experience with CRM communication platforms like SendGrid is preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Office 360, particularly Word and Excel.

• Ability to produce content independently without over-reliance on AI.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

• Comfortable with a fully remote working arrangement.
