This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and manage tasks for the network of freelance writers and external video creators; establish operational timelines, monitor project milestones, and facilitate invoice processing.
• Carefully review and edit external submissions; provide detailed editorial feedback to ensure alignment with brand voice, complete factual accuracy, and high grammatical standards prior to final approval.
• Create diverse content pieces such as articles, press releases, and marketing or advertising copy. Ensure consistency with the brand’s voice while adapting to various formats.
• Collaborate closely with the SEO/AEO team to implement strategic keyword initiatives and ensure incoming submissions match targeted search and intent strategies.
• Manage the cross-functional content calendar and adhere to editorial style guidelines to promote efficient and repeatable production workflows.
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional writing experience in marketing, public relations, journalism, content strategy, or a closely related field; management experience is also required.
• A proven portfolio showcasing publication-quality writing with examples of web content.
• Skills in line-editing, proofreading, and quality assurance; strong project coordination abilities are necessary.
• Preferred qualifications include a BA in English, Communications, or Journalism; familiarity with SEO best practices; experience providing explicit editorial guidance to freelance networks or asset developers; and exposure to B2B or SaaS digital environments.
