This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the smooth transformation of recorded events into precise and well-organized transcripts for AlphaSense’s clientele.

• Modify transcripts to ensure they accurately reflect the audio files, correctly identifying speaker names, product names, and numerical data.

• Revise grammar and punctuation within tight deadlines.

• Examine, edit, and proofread transcripts for correctness, clarity, and compliance with company standards and formatting guidelines.

• Detect and rectify errors, including issues related to grammar, punctuation, spelling, formatting, and the identification of speakers and products.

• Ensure transcripts are contextually precise and incorporate industry-specific terminology where necessary.

• Structure, format, and deliver transcripts in the required layout and within specified timeframes.

• Uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive information with care.

• Maintain consistent focus to achieve optimal turnaround times.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in transcription, editing, or a similar field.

• Strong auditory skills and the capacity to comprehend various accents and audio qualities.

• Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, and punctuation.

• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the production of flawless work.

• Proficient in utilizing text editing and document formatting software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).

• Skilled in using additional tools such as instant messaging applications, Excel, email, etc.

• Capability to operate under tight deadlines and handle multiple editing projects simultaneously.

• Familiarity with AI transcription tools is a plus.

• A solid understanding of financial literacy and concepts related to financial markets would be advantageous.

• Knowledge of specific industries and companies (e.g., finance, technology, medical, biotech) along with their terminologies would be beneficial.
