This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Curate, sustain, and refresh internal clinical reference materials, such as SOPs, quick reference guides, and workflow documentation.
• Create educational and operational content for onboarding as well as continuous training for the clinical team.
• Facilitate training sessions for clinical teams in virtual, hybrid, or face-to-face settings.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training and pinpoint areas needing retraining, workflow reinforcement, and process enhancements.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure audit preparedness, update documentation, and implement corrective or preventive measures.
• Act as a clinical stakeholder in projects focused on cross-functional workflow optimization and system improvements.
• Aid in managing clinical process enhancements aimed at improving efficiency, decreasing error rates, and supporting scalability.
• Educate and assist trainees and new members of the clinical team.
• Partner with laboratory and clinical teams to ensure training materials and workflow documentation are in sync with current operational standards.
• Undertake additional responsibilities that support team and organizational objectives while adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• 8 to 10+ years of experience in a clinical genetic testing laboratory.
• Master of Science or Master of Arts in Genetic Counseling from an ACGC-accredited program or its equivalent.
• Board certified or board eligible in Genetic Counseling by ABMGG or ABGC.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without any restrictions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical and laboratory genetics.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to simplify complex scientific concepts.
• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for content accuracy and workflow documentation.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with laboratory and clinical teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards pertinent to genetic testing laboratories, including CLIA and CAP.
• Proficient with learning management systems, document management tools, and general computer applications.
• Preferred experience in developing or delivering clinical training content within a laboratory, healthcare, or operational environment.
• Preferred experience in supporting quality assurance, audit readiness, documentation updates, or corrective and preventive actions.
• Preferred experience in contributing to workflow improvement, process optimization, or cross-functional system enhancement initiatives.
