Consulting Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote patient care and support utilizing telehealth platforms.

• Perform virtual evaluations of patients, including assessing medical histories and current symptoms.

• Precisely evaluate and document patient conditions, histories, and care interactions.

• Provide education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, adherence to medication, and self-care practices.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to create and execute personalized care plans.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws; safeguard patient confidentiality regarding medication profiles.

• Keep current with medical developments, telehealth protocols, and best practices through ongoing education.

• Exhibit empathy, professionalism, and effective communication in all interactions with patients.

• Support the oversight of remote pharmacy technicians as necessary; coordinate the delivery of pharmaceutical services and medications to patients; ensure the secure handling of legend drugs; verify the correctness and appropriateness of prescriptions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Florida.

• Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Florida Board of Pharmacy.

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Pharmacist.

• Strong organizational and leadership abilities to support clinical/pharmacy operations.

• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Capability to communicate clearly and effectively in both spoken and written forms.

• Proven ability to adhere to standard operating procedures and adapt in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, particularly in high-volume or high-stress situations.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative care team.
